On July 26, 2024, in Ho Chi Minh City, the event ‘World Trainers: Leadership and Innovation in the Digital Era’ was successfully held, marking an important milestone in the journey of developing capabilities for the Vietnamese business community. This was the first event in the ‘World Trainers – Training for a Better World’ project series initiated by Global Book Corporation.
The event began with a moment of silence for the General Secretary, led by Mr. Nguyen Duc Binh, Director of the Small and Medium Enterprise Promotion Center (SMEPC), a branch of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Ho Chi Minh City (VCCI-HCM). This solemn moment honored the dedication and contributions of the leader.
The event featured two main topics, each offering unique and insightful perspectives. The first topic, ‘Leadership in the Age of Artificial Intelligence’ was presented by Professor Dr. Ian. He discussed the importance of AI in modern business leadership. With the rapid advancement of technology, leaders need to master data-driven decision-making skills and the ability to adapt quickly. The knowledge Dr. Ian shared not only helped leaders better understand the role of AI but also provided practical tools for application in management.
The second topic, ‘Creativity and Innovation in Business’ led by Dr. Pete, emphasized the role of creativity and innovation in maintaining sustainable business growth. Dr. Pete guided attendees on how to foster creativity within organizations, from encouraging employee idea contributions to implementing effective innovation projects. He also introduced creative and innovative processes for leaders and managers, helping them develop detailed plans, from setting objectives to evaluating results.
The discussion sessions provided opportunities for participants to exchange experiences and apply new knowledge to practical situations. The lively discussions helped leaders better understand the core competencies needed to guide their teams in the digital era 4.0. The practical application planning guidance provided attendees with methods and tools to transform knowledge into concrete actions. The speakers shared approaches and tools to turn insights into specific actions, ensuring that the lessons learned at the event could be immediately applied to work and yield tangible results.
The program left a positive impression and was highly regarded by the participants.
